These terms apply to work carried out by AK Exteriors, the registered business name of Hamza Khaled (Sole Trader).

Quotes

Quotes are itemised and valid for 14 days. The price shown is the total you pay — there is no call-out fee and no separate charge added later. If we find something on site that materially changes the work, we stop and send you a revised quote before continuing. You are never charged for work you have not agreed to.

Payment

There is no deposit. Accepting your quote confirms the booking, and the full price is invoiced after the work is finished. It is due within 7 days, by bank transfer or cash.

Cancellation and rescheduling

• You can cancel or reschedule at no cost. Please give us at least 48 hours' notice so we can offer the slot to someone else.
• If we need to reschedule for any reason, including weather, you get priority on the next available date.

Access

We need access to the work area and to an outside tap and power point. Please move vehicles, furniture and anything fragile, close windows, and tell us about pets, gate codes and anything fragile on the property. If we cannot access the site on the day, the under-24-hour cancellation term applies.

Safety and property condition

Some surfaces cannot be cleaned safely. Roofs built before 1990 may contain asbestos cement, which we will not pressure wash. Where we identify a pre-existing defect — cracked tiles, failed pointing, rusted gutters, loose render — we photograph it and tell you rather than working around it. We are not responsible for damage arising from a pre-existing defect we have reported.

Water restrictions

Hard-surface cleaning is restricted in some cities. We work within the rules that apply at your address and will tell you before quoting if they affect your job.

Your consumer guarantees

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those rights. If the work is not carried out with due care and skill you are entitled to a remedy, and for a major failure you choose whether to cancel or to keep the service at a reduced price.
