What we actually do
A window clean that only does the glass looks wrong within a week, because the dirt sitting in the tracks and on the sills washes straight back down. We do the whole unit: glass both sides, frames, sills, tracks and flyscreens.

Do I need to be home?
Only if you want the inside done. Exterior-only cleans just need access to the property and an outside tap.
How do you reach the second storey?
Water-fed pole from the ground wherever possible — it is safer and it gives a better finish than ladder work. Ladders are a last resort, not the default.
How often should windows be cleaned?
Twice a year suits most homes. Coastal properties need it more often because of salt.
